New York Bill to Enable State to Reveal President Trump’s State Income Tax Return

A bill is being introduced in the New York legislature on April 8 to enable the state to make President Trump’s state income tax returns public. The state would seek the permission of three chairmen of three congressional committees in order to do this. See this New York Times story.

This bill does injure voting rights. Many states are threatening to pass bills that keep presidential candidates off the ballot if they don’t reveal income tax returns. Those bills injure the voters who want to vote for such candidates. Thanks to Howard Bashman for the link.

  1. One more RED communist scheme.

How many seconds until *open* Civil W-A-R II ???

    PR and AppV

Abolish the USA Senate and Electoral College.

Divide many States into RED communist and Freedom parts.

  2. Civil War II is about at the stage Civil War I was in 1850. There is an uneasy peace with occasional minor skirmishes of low-level violence and federal law nullification. So if the calendar runs at the same speed as 175 years ago, the answer to DR’s question of how long until *open* war is this: about 10 years.

  3. DW — More like time from 1859 John Brown raid to Nov 1860 ???

    — Major conspiracy among slave state Guvs and top slavers.

How many days to 2020 election day ???

How many RED communist State Guvs conspiring ???

  4. The Democrats have never accepted the election of Donald Trump as President of these United States. They would scream bloody murder if the Republicans did this sort of thing to a Democrat president.

  5. Actually, every modern president has released their taxes. This situation is the outlier.

  6. John Kerry released his own tax return in 2004, when he was the Democratic nominee, but he did not release his wife’s tax return, and she was far wealthier than he was. Also John McCain in 2008 released his own tax return, but not his wife’s tax return, and she also was far wealthier than he was.

Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson didn’t release their tax returns.

  7. According to the Tax History Project, President Barack Obama released his tax returns for every year between 2000 and 2015. President George W. Bush released his returns for 2000 through 2007. President Bill Clinton made public his returns from 1992 to 1999 (and then his wife, 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton released their returns from 2000 to 2016).
President George H.W. Bush released his taxes for 1989, 1990, and 2000. President Ronald Reagan released his 1981, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1986, and 1987 returns. Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, and Richard Nixon also released their taxes.

  8. NO mention of tax returns for ANY candidates in the more and more DEAD USA Const —

    a late DARK AGE document.

How many RED communists N-O-W in the USA ???

ANY body with above average income / assets / net worth is AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE ???

SEE HITLER VS REDS IN GERMANY IN 1929-1934 — END WITH HITLER PURGE ON 30 JUNE 1934.

  9. Republicans are just bitching because they think the Cheeto Benito should be above the law. Also, because they probably realize that his tax returns have extensive evidence of far reaching, regular, connected and organized criminal activity before and after taking office. Combined with the results of investigations that are already concluded or ongoing and other investigations e.g. Deutsche Bank and matters stemming from the Panama Papers this can take the whole Trump crime family and many of their criminal associates down. Watergate was a much less extensive or complicated crime and prosecution stemming from the coverup took ten years to complete resulting in about 70 separate people convicted.

  10. What is comprehensible is the nonstop attempts by the RED communists and fascists to rig elections —

    — including adding UN-constitutional added qualifications for ballot access.

  11. II-!-5

No Person except a natural born Citizen, [[[ or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, ]]] shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

    —-
ZERO mention of any tax returns.

NBC = AT BIRTH ***ALLEGIANCE*** TO THE USA REGIME.

    — PREVENT 1787 Europe type machinations about allegiance —

eg after birth change of allegiance via naturalization process — monarch/oligarch stuff.

Too many DANGEROUS STUPID People to count — brain dead ignorant about BASIC stuff.

  12. The *temporary* language in brackets [[[]]] was to allow folks who were naturalized by the States in 1776-1788 to be qualified to be Prez.

  13. They didn’t have any tax returns. Nor did they have billionaires with extensive foreign and business ties susceptible to corrupt business practices seeking or accepting the office of presidents (although they did foresee the danger in the emoluments clause). The federal government didn’t have such a huge impact on the economy, international trade, internal commerce, or people’s personal lives.

In recent decades it has been customary for presidential candidates to release their returns, although it has been less necessary than it is in Trump’s case. The Mango Mussolini lied about being under audit and that he would release them once no longer under audit. He is still using that same line of bull but there is no evidence he actually is under audit and at least some that he isn’t. Even if he is he could still disclose his returns to relevant congressional committees. And NY State is well within its rights here; no one is being barred from the ballot or from voting for Agent Orange von Bonspur regardless of what is or isn’t on his IRS extortion receipts.
