The November 2 has two stories about minor party potential to alter the 2012 presidential election: (1) this one, in which Roger Stone says that the Republican Party is threatened by such outside candidates; (2) this one, about Americans Elect.
Sounds like a bunch of scared “political consultants” who aren’t very well-educated.
It’s the blame game all over again. If the Republicans nominate a poor candidate in 2012, they will hand Obama another term. You can’t blame the LP if Republicans screw up. Now if all those voters would just check the libertarian line, we’d be better off. But we know that won’t happen.
