Ohio Press Still Hasn’t Reported on November 1 Directive, Putting Five Parties on Ohio 2012 Ballot

Even though the Ohio Secretary of State issued a directive late on November 1, putting the Americans Elect, Constitution, Green, Libertarian and Socialist Parties on the 2012 ballot, and even though that directive is on the Secretary of State’s web page, so far the mainstream media in Ohio have run no stories about this news. Here is the link on the Secretary of State’s web page to the directive.

Ohio Press Still Hasn’t Reported on November 1 Directive, Putting Five Parties on Ohio 2012 Ballot — No Comments

  1. How much of the media even does ONE story about ANY minor party just before each general election ???

    — i.e. even listing ALL of the candidates for each office ???

  2. #3, if you are thinking about the Boston Tea Party, the fact that the Boston Tea Party only got 2,422 votes in the entire US for president in 2008, and didn’t have any nominees for other office on the ballot under its own party name in 2008 nor in 2010, would probably be used against any claim that the Boston Tea Party has a modicum of voter support.

  3. How come the all knowing SCOTUS folks used *modicum* ???

What modicum of the population knows what *modicum* means ???

  4. #5 Most would be familiar with modicum of decorum

If political parties do not behave decorously, there could be ballot chaos.

  5. # 7 Check out the ever lower-lower-lower reading test scores in Publik Skoools ???

What percentage of adults are NOT capable of reading a voter registration form or a now standard ballot having about 20-50 things to vote on (esp. in urban areas with bedsheet ballots) ???

Will CA have a totally separate ballot for its zillion issue petitions per election ???
