Here is a news story about the 3-judge U.S. District Court that is hearing testimony about the validity of Arizona’s U.S. House and legislative districts. The first day of the trial was March 25, and the trial is continuing on March 26.

  1. In terms of the ratio of seats to votes, the gerrymander bias was very small, about 1 point (I quick did the calculation for the state Senate, I didn’t do the calculation for the state House). In contrast, in 2011, when the Dems cut the state Senate lines and the Reps the lower house lines, the gerrymander bias was about 7 points.
