San Francisco Voters Approve Letting Non-Citizen Parents Vote in School Board Elections

San Francisco voters passed Proposition N with 52.6% of the vote. It amends the charter to let non-citizen adults living in San Francisco vote in school board elections, if they are parents or caregivers of children living in San Francisco.

  1. How soon before citizens of the world are voting in elections in the People’s soviet socialist Republic of CA ???

  2. This is a terrible idea. It devalues citizenship. What does it mean to be a citizen when citizenship is decoupled from voting?
