The previous high write-in vote for president in North Carolina had been Ralph Nader’s 1996 total, but Stein has now surpassed that.

  1. At this rate Jill might crack 1% in NC with write-ins. Imagine if NC didn’t have such insane ballot access laws and she was able to get on the ballot, NC could have ended up being her best state in that alternate reality.

  2. What century will third party folks get some lawyers with ANY brain cells and go to SCOTUS with the correct arguments —

    1. Each election is NEW.
    2. Separate is NOT equal. Brown v. Bd of Ed 1954
    3. EQUAL ballot access tests for ALL candidates for the SAME office in the SAME area.

  3. Perhaps you should offer the minor parties your services, since you’re apparently an authority on which arguments federal judges will deem correct.

  4. The usual suspect know-it-all MORON lawyers have been so informed

    — but they continue to LOSE all sorts of ballot access cases
    — since they are MORONS
    — doing the same old things and expecting different results.

  5. Most counties should have already reported Stein’s write-in total. The counties were ordered by the state to count write-ins for Stein on the night of the election, which isn’t typically done until canvass.
