  1. How many State gerrymander HACKS creating rigged packed/cracked EC gerrymander districts — USA Rep dists or special EC dists ???

    Abolish the EC

    PR and AppV.

  2. If you follow the news these days, Virginia has bigger things to worry about these days than this legislation. By the way, I’m glad it was defeated. I don’t support NPV, and, in any event, it doesn’t make political sense for a mid-sized swing state.

I do wish that other proposals, such as the bill on RCV and electing Presidential electors by District would get more traction.

  3. Tom, the United Coalition USA has is electing our 538 Electors under RCV as one at-large district on Earth Day 2020. Use the signup form should you want to be elected to our team. We’ve been using pure proportional representation (PPR) right for more than twenty-four consecutive years and now our team is electing the first PPR Electoral College and trying to coordinate with all parties’ and independents national conventions in 2020.

  4. I want every Americans vote to finally be counted equally. It is a travesty that a candidate may win by nearly 3 million votes and still be denied the position due to how the votes were distributed in their districts and states.

A candidate under our current system can matgematically win with only 20% of the votes so long as they are placed in strategically beneficial locations. It’s not even worth it to vote.

  5. Thank you for trying to save our Republic. Our founders knew this time would come.

  6. Laura, but you are okay with the populations of 5 states choosing the president for the other 45 states?

  7. Laura and Randall are correct. Npv all the way. It’s the right thing to do and it’s inevitable. Just a matter of when, not if.

  8. I would like to address my concerns to those in Virginia House Committee on Privileges and Elections who voted against HB 2422 going to the floor. How do I find out who voted for and against???
