  1. EACH STATE CONTINUES TO BE A NATION-STATE.

INTERNAL POLITICS – OUTSIDE FOLKS — NONE OF YOUR BIZ.

ELECTION PETITIONS AIN’T 1 AMDT PETITIONS.

TOO MANY SCOTUS CONST LAW MORONS TO COUNT ESP SINCE 1861.

  2. On the one hand, for once femo dem is right. On the other hand he’s also the same guy who says states are arbitrary gerymanders and the senate and electoral college should be abolished. So, he’s not exactly consistent about state sovereignty.

  3. The States can survive with NOOOOO minority rule USA Senate and NOOOOO minority rule USA electoral college.

How many States survive by statewide elections of state execs/judics [BUT which should all be nonpartisan] ???

PR [esp in a majority rule USA H REPS] and APPV [esp a nonpartisan USA Prez elected by a majority of all USA real voters].

    6 Jan 2021 to 20 Jan 2021 — END of 2016-2021 Trump drama

    — except for $$$ Trillions added of USA debt added by Trump approved laws.

  4. The states have no right to censor the speech of other American citizens who enter their borders. If they want to do that, they should secede from this country and become their own country.

  5. Some of us done tried that. You reckon they’ll let us go this time? I’d be all for it. Just wouldn’t want to go through reconstruction, federal occupation and carpetbaggers again. Communist agitating snowbirds is bad enough. We keep telling them we don’t care how you do it up north, but they keep coming.

  6. The Senate and the electoral college are the only things protecting any little bit of sovereignty the States and people thereof still have. The cheating that was done to try to steal the election from Trump would be ten times worse with no electoral college. In every election. Candidates would see no reason to campaign outside the big cities. It would be a nightmare.

Imagine the last 40 years with no Senate and no electoral college. The last time Republicans elected a President who wasn’t an incumbent with a majority of the popular vote was in 1980 back when I first started voting. Imagine what the Supreme Court would look like now and how it would have decided cases over the last few decades. What would our Second Amendment rights and healthcare look like now? Would we live under a European Union or Canadian government, or would we be all the way red communist like China along with them, because Republican electoral colleges and Senate majorities have been the only thing keeping us AND then even a little bit free?

  7. What language do you reckon we’d be speaking now if it weren’t for the Senate and Electoral college – Arabic, Spanish or Chinese?

  8. Doing away with the Senate and Electoral college would lead straight to the mob rule communism the founders warned us about.

  9. You can’t call States arbitrary gerrymanders out of one side of your mouth and say they’re nation states out of the other.

Btw whoever is admin. Having to post this as a bunch of comments because it just disappears otherwise.

  10. SOME results of the ANTI-Democracy minority rule USA Senate —

Expansion of slavery in 1789-1861 — one new free State / one new slave State — in pairs.

Civil WAR I — with about a million DEAD in 1861-1866.

SCOTUS and lower USA courts filled with partisan HACKS — esp since 1861.

All sorts of commie treaties and commie treaty enforcement laws wiping out the States even more.

Too many ignorant polisci MORONS to count

    — who love killer monarchs [ie killer USA Prezs] and killer oligarchs [top hack killer USA Senators].

  11. You’re full of crap. States would have exited the union much sooner if not for the compromises reached prior to 1860. Treaties don’t originate in the Senate. They are negotiated by the executive branch. The senate occasionally rejects treaties. Not often enough, but it would be even worse without the advise and consent of the senate being required. Talk about ignorant polisci morons, you’re the prime example of that yourself.
