  1. @DemoRep Better than winner take all. Now if only the statewide electoral votes were awarded proportionally on top of it.

  2. Gerrymander Math 000000001-

1/2 or less votes x 1/2 rigged packed/cracked gerrymander AREAS – precincts, census tracts, legis districts, political areas

    = 1/4 or less CONTROL

    = oligarchy

    — always tending to monarchy — Stalin/Hitler types.

  3. As the election of 1876 proved, as the election of 1960 proved, and as the events of the past three months have proved, the more granular the allocation of Electoral College votes, the more ripe the process is for electoral scheming, blackmail and fraud.

  4. It should be noted that the GOP controls redistricting in NH, and it’s been discussed rather openly about gerrymandering CD-1 to lean GOP, which would make CD-2 safe for the Dems. The last time NH’s EVs went to the GOP was back in 2000. This bill is an attempt to ensure the GOP gets 1 EV from NH.
