New York Times Carries Op-Ed Advocating the Election of an Independent Candidate to the U.S. House from Montana

The October 7 print edition of the New York Times has an op-ed by Sarah Vowell, advocating that voters in Montana’s U.S. House, second district, elect an independent candidate, Gary Buchanan. See it here. Buchanan has been endorsed by former Republican Governor Marc Racicot, who is also a former chair of the Republican National Committee.

  1. Ny times is a communist source publishing commie fake news and ridiculous commie opinions.

  2. The article is kind of repulsive, but I will say that something similar happened where I live last year.

I live in a Democratic city in a Democratic state. We had an election for Mayor where the incumbent got primaried, and the Republican actually dropped out to support a stronger and more well-known independent candidate, who narrowly lost the two-way election.

  3. How uh Richard would Bill and Bob happen to have the same IP address? Not sure if you can check that.

@“Bob”… the NYTimes is actually a Social Democratic and neo-liberal publication. Honestly, Trump is further to left than neo-liberals and kind of similar economically to social democrats (anti-trade, anti-immigration, economic protectionism, union supporters). He and his supporters are of course absolutely repulsive to any decent human being when it comes to their authoritarian social rhetoric and policies. So honestly the closest person to communism in modern US politics is Trump, but unfortunately you’re to brainwashed to see that. The Republican Party is quickly becoming the new left…. They’re not the ”alt-right” nor are they far-right…. They’re center-right authoritarian (or in the US’s narrow political spectrum center-left authoritarian.)

  4. Aiden forgot to use his IP anomymizer and wants to know if Richard can see all the trolling he’s done under a different IP.

  5. Sorry Miss Arden I don’t know who Bill is and he is not me. Communist socialist democrat and liberal are all the same dressed up a little different but they all lead to the killing fields, gulags and holdomors. The rest of what you said is also nonsense. You are a good little regurgitator of lying commie propaganda peddled by so called educators. They probably gave you lots of good grades and gold stars and pats on the head and told you how smart you are and you were stupid enough to believe them.

The leftist Montana “independent” should go move to Manhattan. Maybe then could have a chance of getting elected to something or other.

  6. 435 gerrymander areas

218 low winners will get about 28 pct of total votes = one more oligarch election.

217 high winners will get more votes than 218 low winners.

    TOTAL perversion of REAL Democracy.

Rotted FEC still has NOT made Federal Elections, 2020 report.
