Justin Amash States That He Will Not Seek Libertarian Party Presidential Nomination — 20 Comments
He doesn’t want to lose a nomination fight to RFK JR.
Unfortunately his time is past. He had his shot in 2020 and let it slip by. I think he’s toast.
He’s 43. Biden is 80. It’s a little early to say he is toast. By the time Amash is 80, in 2060, that may no longer even be old.

I am sorry to hear that Justin Amash will not be seeking the Libertarian Party’s Presidential nomination. He was my preference for the election.

Amash is not a libertarian.
From his comments l think he means that Libertarian party should be like a centrist party that should welcome Democrats and Republicans who don’t feel comfortable on their parties. It should be the No labels party with ballot access on all states. I have to agree with him. His comments make it unlikely that RFK Jr. will run on the Libertarian ticket.
