Idaho Legislature Passes Bill Moving Independent Presidential Petition Deadline from March to August

On March 8, the Idaho legislature passed HB 661, which moves the independent presidential petition deadline from March 15 to August 1. The bill had passed the House on March 1. The vote was unanimous in both houses.

This only happened because of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s pending lawsuit against the old deadline. The judge had said oprally at a status conference that he would strike down the March deadline unless the legislature quickly passed the bill. Thanks to Rick Lass for this news.

  1. SHOCKING – MERE PAPER COURT CASES AND PAPER CONST AND LAWS HAVE EFFECTS ON STATE MINORITY RULE MONARCHS/OLIGARCHS — VS HAVING USA ARMY UNITS OCCUPY A STATE.

  2. And nothing done for 3rd parties here – Still March 15, yet the same logic should apply.

  3. I DIDN’T KNOW THAT BOTS HAD PANTIES, ‘CAUSE THOMAS JONES HAS ANTS IN HIS THIS MORNING!!!

  4. Corpses frequently collect a variety of insect and smaller organisms as coffin seals prove permeable over time.

Let Mr. Jones rest in peace wherever he’s buried, or his ashes if he was cremated.

Meanwhile, the AZ troll bot, which has no physical form, is a computer program which will continue to twist the eclectic ideas of Thomas Jones, RIP, fake news headlines, a few lines of incorrectly translated machine code, WokePedoA search results, a rather limited number of insults and a very few other similar inputs into garbage output as message board comments for thousands, millions or, who knows, billions of years.

They may continue to be posted long after linguists struggle to understand any clue as to what language they may have originally been in.

  5. USELESS 0.666 IQ BAN TROLL MORONS –

    DOING ZERO ABOUT —

    UNEQUAL BALLOT ACCESS LAW
    MINORITY RULE EXTREMIST PRIMARIES
    MINORITY RULE GERRYMANDERS
    PARTISAN HACK EXECS/JUDICS
    SOP VIOLATIONS

  6. It just needs to be ignored, but you won’t do that. Same problem MSM had with Trump, which helped a lot with making him President, and will again, since they learned nothing.

Obviously, you won’t make AZbot president or implement any of its weird ideas. You’ll help it do something worse, which is suck up so much intelligence that it becomes an artificial intelligence black hole, leading to sucking up the universe and turning it into antimatter frozen forever at absolute zero degrees.

Lucifer, the AZbot’s programmer, thanks you for your help.

Or you could ignore at the attention zombie bot.

    But. You won’t.

It’s called the deer in headlights effect.

  7. Idaho is very easily in Trump’s column. It has been Republican in every presidential election since, I think, 1968. It’s not going to be close. Third parties and independents, individually or collectively, won’t even be a balance of power in idaho.

If there’s room for a third party to do anything other than cosplay in Idaho, it would be as a one state political pressure party from the right, kind of like what the Progressives in Vermont and Working Families parties in several states do from the left (the Conservative Party and Right to Life Party used to in N.Y. State, but I can’t remember if any of those are still on the ballot).

The states where this strategy actually works I think all or almost all have cross endorsements or fusion, where candidates can run under more than one party for the same office in the same election. A pressure party can then influence the larger party closest to its position by giving or withholding cross nomination to the larger party’s candidates depending on their individual track record

Does Idaho have that? If not, running outside the GOP in idaho, except maybe one or two local liberal areas like college towns maybe, is going to be a delusional/vanity exercise.

These days, there are easier and more effective ways to propogate long range political reform ideas and to lobby on specific issues than balloting an extremely long shot party or candidate. There’s even better avenues for cosplay, if you really enjoy meaningless titles, pointless parliamentary circle jerks, useless committees, arguing over obscure points of ideology and the like.

  8. Getting memory holed. Let’s try this piecemeal.

Yeah, I’m way on the other side of the country (Florida Georgia Line, not the band) but I guessed there would be a few leftists pockets here and there without knowing the specifics.

  9. But where and how would any third party either swing or win elections in Idaho? If it’s even possible, it certainly wouldn’t be at the presidential level. There, it’s bragging rights at best, along the lines of “we beat the democrats in X county.” Congratulations, here’s a cookie, if you can afford to pay for it. If you don’t, you’ll have to get a job or some form of public or private assistance and come back for your cookie.

  10. From the article;

    Judge said oprally.

I’m guessing this was intended to be orally, not that the judge said this at the Opry, the opera, or the Oprah show (if she still has one).

  11. Independents for President need more time, the deadline of March 15 was too short. Independents do not have a primary, they go straight to the General Election in November. This part of the bill is good.

  12. Shooting people is way more fun than voting. Once you get the taste of blood, there’s nothing like it. War is our destiny and our salvation. Through war, we breed a superior species of humanity. Hail Mars!

  13. HOW MANY SUPERIOR DEAD GERMANS IN 1914-1918 AND 1939-1945 ???

ALLIES HAVE LOTS OF FUN KILLING SUCH GERMANS BY ALL POSSIBLE MEANS – BULLETS / BOMBS / SHELLS / ETC. ???

  14. Yes, the world wars helped to purify Europe’s blood, on all sides, and many soldiers had fun killing each other and civilians. Europe is overdue for another such war, but then so is every other continent. It’s going to be megatons of fun. I’m looking forward to it. Hail Mars!
