Ohio State Senator Says Democrats Would Win a Lawsuit Against the Early Ohio Certification Deadline

According to this story, Ohio Republican State Senator Matt Huffman (R-Lima) predicts that if the Democratic Party sues Ohio over the August 7 deadline for a qualified party to certify its presidential and vice-presidential nominees, the Democratic Party would win that lawsuit. He mentioned the unanimous U.S. Supreme Court precedent Trump v Anderson, issued on March 4, 2024, that said the Constitution does not permit states to block presidential candidates and thus create a “patchwork” of ballot access.

Senator Huffman is chair of the Senate Rules & Reference Committee.

  1. I would absolutely love to see a major party presidential candidate kept off of a general election ballot.

  2. Alabama will absolutely keep Beijing Biden off the ballot. We’ll see about Ohio. Hopefully Senator Huffman is wrong.

  3. Richard would like them to win this lawsuit in a federal court because a court shooting down an August deadline could serve as precedent for striking down other deadlines as too early.

My guess is that the national guard of Alabama or Ohio very much do not want to be deployed against their own people should Biden be kept off the general election ballot.

  4. Have you ever even been to Alabama? Our negroes won’t be rioting if the corpse of Biden isn’t on the ballot. Half of them are already backing Trump (that’s out of the half that will vote). Most of the rest can learn to scribble the deceased dementia patient’s name “BIDEN” with a little remedial education.

As for white democrats, we do have some. Most of them are homosexuals, college professors, carpetbaggers, or some combination thereof. They will not be rooting, either.

  5. A friend of mine once said that if while she was in the Guard New York had invaded Vermont she would have loved it.

  6. Rioting, I meant. They’ll be rooting for Biden, but he’ll lose Alabama (and the national vote) badly.

  7. National Guard? The outcome of the Alabama presidential vote couldn’t be less of a mystery if it published a book called “if I did it.” Ohio isn’t far behind. Write ins count in both states. Any negroes who would riot over that would definitely earn their Darwin awards.

  8. Unfortunately, it’s starting to look like Alabama’s not going to stick by its guns. That’s a shame. From the loins of the great White Anglo Saxon Southland: we’re rooting for Ohio on this one.

  9. Every day I come here and read comments like this in these posts and every day I become more convinced the only thing that General Sherman ever did wrong was stop.

  10. So, you’re a fan of rape as a weapon of war and ethnic cleansing. What else do you pine for? Mass starvation? Killing fields? Gulags?

  11. Joshua Fauver? He’s a fucking retard from a long line of inbred fucking retards. His family tree has no branches. His parents were brother and sister. Neither of them were sober enough to remember the conception, pregnancy, or birth, but the rest of their kin were there and swear it’s true.

  13. No doubt they would win the lawsuit, if they can be bothered to at least file that on time. But why not just nominate candidates on time instead and save the hassle. Are they so afraid Biden will kick the bucket during those last 90 days before the election?
