Incumbent Legislator Removed from New Mexico Republican Primary Ballot

On April 15, a state trial court in New Mexico removed Rebecca Dow from the New Mexico Republican primary ballot. See this story. She is trying to be re-elected to the State House, 38th district. She filed pictures of her petition instead of the petition itself. She is appealing to the State Supreme Court. The primary is June 2.

The State Supreme Court hearing is Tuesday, April 21. Jaramillo v Whitehead, S-1-SC-41374.

  1. If she was anything besides a Democrat or a Republican this case would be DoA. As it is since the GOP is pretty much a minor party in NM she still might not get a break.

  2. I know who casual observer is, although I don’t think I’m allowed to tell you, and it’s not Knapp.

  3. Steve, however, is Knapp. Whenever someone brings up Knapp where he’s not already being talked about, that’s Knapp, seeking attention.

  4. Why does Knapp refer to himself as “you” and pretend to be multiple people?

Of course it’s obvious that “Steve” is Knapp. Now, knock it off, Thomas. It’s just as annoying as it is transparent.

  5. Dow was put back on the ballot by the NM Supreme Court by a unanimous decision. Shocking since all the Justices are Democrats.
