In New York, independent U.S. Senate candidate Diane Sare (who hopes to run in 2022) is organizing a group to find a sponsor for a bill that would decrease the 45,000-signature requirement passed in 2020. In Oregon, the Working Families Party is working to find a sponsor for a bill to ease the registration test for a party to remain on the ballot.
The Alaska Supreme Court will hear the appeal over the top-four system on January 18, 2022. The first brief is due November 15. See this story.
