Lyle Denniston, a scholar of the U.S. Supreme Court, writes here about Baca v Griswold, the Tenth Circuit decision from August 21 on presidential electors. He says Colorado state officials say they haven’t decided whether or not to appeal the decision to the U.S. Supreme Court. California SB 288 would allow non-citizens to run for County Central Committee in the Democratic Party, and also the Peace & Freedom Party. The bill has been amended several times. When it passed the State Senate in May, it was not even an election law bill. Here is the latest version.
