New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has asked the New York legislature to pass automatic voter registration in 2018. All adult citizens known to exist would be automatically registered, unless the individual opted out. See this story, which says that Cuomo also is asking for early voting.

On December 18, U.S. District Court Judge David M. Lawson, a Clinton appointee, ordered the city of Centerline, Michigan, not to threaten Michael Mattia with arrest for displaying large posters on public sidewalks that show pictures of aborted fetuses.
