Iowa House Passes Bill that Makes Section Three Challenges Impossible

On March 5, the Iowa House passed HF2610, which makes it impossible for any challenge to be filed against a candidate on the grounds listed in Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment. The vote was 62-35.

Claudia De La Cruz Leading in the Peace & Freedom Party Presidential Primary

Here is a link to the California election returns for the five presidential primaries. In the Peace & Freedom presidential primary, Claudia De La Cruz is leading, with 42% of the precincts reporting.

Chase Oliver has won the Oklahoma presidential primary. The results (which are not final) are Chase Oliver 569, Jacob Hornberger 360.

Krystal Gabel Wins Legal Marijuana Now Presidential Primary in Minnesota

Krystal Gabel has the most votes of any candidate in the presidential primary of the Minnesota Legal Marijuana Now Party. See the results here. Ironically, she did not want her name to be on the ballot.

Chase Oliver Leads All Other Candidates in North Carolina Libertarian Presidential Primary

Here is a link to March 5 election returns for the North Carolina primaries. In the Libertarian presidential primary, Chase Oliver leads, although “no preference” has more votes than any single candidate.
