Joe Miller, Republican U.S. Senate Nominee in Alaska in 2010, Reportedly will Seek Constitution Party Presidential Nomination — 11 Comments

  1. Interesting development. They should try to recruit Christine O’Donnell from Delaware for VP.

  2. Are Joe Miller’s views & stances in conformity with the CP’s platform? He hasn’t even announced his intention to seek the CP’s nomination on his Facebook page or anywhere else.

Plus we also have the South Dakota CP’s State Chair calling for Trump to leave the Republican Party and join the CP.

  3. Cody Quirk,

What is your take on why Charles M. Deemer and Gary Odom mom having a caucus to form a Political Body
named “Independent Party”? This is at a time when Don Grundmann and his mom claim to be the Chairman
and Vice Chairperson of the Constitution Party of California.

How do you think that will effect Dr. Don Grundmann’s run in Salt Lake City for his POTUS run?

What is your take on Joe Miller’s comment about Herald Island to Mr. Zink? Remember that George Wallace
Melville on June 2, 1881, annexed the islands. Henrietta, Herald, and Jeanette at the same event at
Cape Melville (Northern most point of Alaska) at the same point in time under 1879 order of the Secretary of the Navy. It was on May 17, 1884 that Major Ezra W. Clark, an attorney with the Department of the Treasury for an internal board of that Department place six island in Alaska, and Herald Island
was one of the six. That was to give the island a limited form of civil government.

Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg, Chairman, American Independent Party of California.

  4. I thought there was a former congressman from Indiana who was running for the CP nomination?

  5. Mark, I think basically that forming a California Constitution Party blew up in their faces, especially since the California SoS still recognizes Don Grundmann as State Chair of the California CP.

However on Joe Miller, I doubt that he is aware of the CP’s baggage, and if/when he is made fully aware, he might have second thoughts on running under the CP banner.

  6. The CP needs to stop looking outside of itself for a knight in shining armor. It is imperative that we development leadership from within. Develop our state affiliates. Focus on ballot access. Promote ourselves more effectively to the media. Market ourselves to the upcoming generations. Push for debate inclusion. There is no substitute for on the ground grassroots efforts. I call upon all CP members and leaders to act honorably. We must support our own, or face rapid disintegration. Peace Out!

  7. J. R. Myers,

Thank you for those good comments. What is your view about restoring the name to the mountain, viz. Mount
McKinley. I am thinking of a parody “Let’s Tell Tell On The Mountain, McKinley Is The Name”.

I was 12 years old in 1959, Alaska was a new state, when I first visited Mount McKinley. Mount McKinley
was always talked about with pride by Alaskans. Then we get a left wing agenda that does not like to
    name places after American Heroes.

Last month Secretary of Interior Jewel took the name away from the mountain. I think when Obama is gone
the new President should honor McKinley again and bring back the McKinley name again.

    Cody Quirk,

You are correct, Dr. Don J. Grundmann and mommy are the Chairman and Vice Chairperson of the Political
Body of the “Constitution Party of California” according to the California Secretary of State.

Charles M. Deemer is the [California] State Chairman of the “Independent Party” (which was rejected by
the California Secretary of State because the name is inclusive within the name “American Independent
Party” which as used that designation since 1967. Both the “Independent Party” and the “Constitution
Party of California” share the same Post Office Box for an address.

Marilyn Stevens, is the Secretary – Treasurer of this cabal known as the “Independent Party”. Marilyn
Stevens is the mother of Gary Odom. Gary Odom was elected the Chairman of the Constitution Party of
California, in October, 2014 in Fresno, CA. At the time the letter from Charles M. Deemer to the Secretary of State of 24 February 2015, Marilyn Stevens was registered as a member of the “American Independent Party”. Marilyn Stevens the last time I visited with her (23 April 2007) was on the State
Central Committee of the American Independent Party. Both Marilyn Stevens and Gary Odom live together
in Coursgold, CA. Coursgold is very near Fresno, CA. My current guess is Deemer and Stevens had a
caucus if Fresno in October, 2014 in Fresno, CA to form a political body by the name “Independent Party”
while they removed Don Grundmann for the Chairmanship with the help of Frank.

The CP still has until July 11, 2016 to become ballot qualified. However, they spend their time on trying take the name “Independent Party” which was rejected by the CA SOS given them through the Federal
Court. It has been 6 years since the clowns running the CP in California to get organized and building
electors. I expect this lawsuit will fail also, and CP will not be able to run a POTUS or VPOTUS in California.

William “Bill” Lussenheide is the co-Plaintiff with Deemer in this Sacrament Federal lawsuit. I see this as a big zero.

  8. Interesting discussion on this at http://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=234063.25
I certainly wish I had the funds to travel to Utah for this convention because I am sure it is going to be a good one. I predict the following candidates will be placed into nomination, in alphabetical order: Darrell Castle, Scott Copeland, Don Grundmann, Tom Hoefling, Joe Miller, J.R. Myers. Good men, all of them. I pray that the CP delegates nominate the ticket which will best promote the principles and philosophy of America’s Founders and attract the attention of most God-fearing hard-working Americans!

  9. Jeff Becker,

My guess is you have never met Dr. Don Grundmann. In 2008 in Kansas City he could not get a second person
to support him in the California delegation for POTUS.. Don Grundmann held no office in the American
Independent Party after September 2, 2008.

Dr, Grundmann was registered to vote in the American Independent Party until April, 2015, This is even though he was claiming to be Chairman of the Constitution Party from 2010 forwand at the same time he
chaimed to be Chairman, of the “REAL AMERICAN INDEPENDENT PARTY” at the same time. Which was a false
    statement.

Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg, Chairman, American Independent Party
