Peace & Freedom Presidential Primary Ballot Will Contain Three Names

The Peace & Freedom Party, which has its own presidential primary in California, will have three names on the ballot: Cornel West, Claudia De La Cruz, and Jasmine Sherman. Thanks to C.T. Weber for this news.

Claudia De La Cruz is the presidential nominee of the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

Here is the campaign website for Jasmine Sherman.

The PFP primary is not binding. The nominee of the party is chosen in August by the state central committee. The primary is March 5.

  1. NOT BINDING = MORE ANTI-DEMOCRACY FRAUD.

  2. I think Generation Z Supports Russia. I also hope Generation Z really does support Russia in its heroic quest to defeat Nazi Satanists and their Kiev Khazar Khaganate (KKK for short) and save Christian European civilization. I don’t know a lot of Gen Z folks well, but my grandkids sure do support Russia!

  3. I think Generation Z Supports Russia is right, I meant to say.

I also think AZ is wrong, but then again he usually is. The only thing he gets right is one election day. The rest is stinky old trash that just keeps coming back from the landfill because they don’t want it either.

  4. USSR Toady and fake news come up short trying to slam People’s Champ Trump with the many fake, phony, ridiculous, made up allegations against him for the zillionth time?? More of the same over the next year??? Shocking!!!

From Cornel West’s point of view, if he goes for the independent petition but gets the Peace & Freedom nomination, then he wasted his efforts. But if he doesn’t get the Peace & Freedom nomination, then is it too late for the independent petition? In other words, it sounds like a gamble.

  6. There’s no chance an independent West petition would get enough signatures in California. It’s not even close to technically too late, but that won’t matter, since the financial and human resources just aren’t there to pull it off. P & F nomination is probably going to the nominees of a Marxist sect party.

  7. I have been trying for 4 years to persuade a California legislator to introduce a bill to ease the horrible California independent presidential petition, which takes 219,000 signatures, to be gathered between April and August. No luck. I should probably try to build a group that would work on this. I did get a meeting with the legislative director for the Secretary of State, to try to persuade that office to support such a bill. They listened but did nothing.

The November 1 2023 BAN print issue shows that California is one of only three states that has NEVER had easy ballot access for minor parties for statewide office. There is something very bad about California political tradition. The other two states are North Carolina and South Carolina.

  8. California had a pretty good system for minor parties after.they did make it through the arduous process of qualifying for the ballot prior to the passage of Top Two Primary. Each party got its own primary and then the candidates who won their primary were all guaranteed spots on the general election ballot. Independent candidates could all petition their way onto the general election ballot. Top Two Primary ruined this for all but presidential candidates, and this is only because presidential candidates are exempt from Top Two Primary.

  9. Does Cornel West want to be on the ballot in California as a Peace and Freedom Party candidate or did somebody file paperwork to put him in their primary without his consent?

  10. Cornel would like to get the PFP nomination. PFP does not put candidates on its presidential primary ballot without asking them first.

  11. CA LEGIS — 1 OF 50 STATE ANTI-DEMOCRACY MINORITY RULE GERRYMANDER REGIMES

MADE WORSE BY CA TOP 2 PRIMARY —

D.C. judge denies two Trump motions in federal election interference trial

Dec. 2 (UPI) — A federal judge has dismissed a pair of arguments from Donald Trump’s legal team, striking down an argument that the former president has blanket immunity in the election interference case proceedings against him.

U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan denied two motions filed by Trump’s lawyers in a 48-page written ruling delivered Friday in Washington, D.C. [[[LINK TO OP]]]

“Defendant’s four-year service as Commander in Chief did not bestow on him the divine right of kings to evade the criminal accountability that governs his fellow citizens,” Chutkan wrote while denying the first of two motions.

Trump’s lawyers argued in their motions that presidents carry absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for acts falling directly under their responsibilities, with the sole exception to that scenario being a previous impeachment and successful conviction in the Senate.

“The Constitution’s text, structure, and history do not support that contention,” Chutkan countered in her opinion.

MORE WORK FOR SCOTUS LATER ???
